The rules:
As a rule I only photograph a limited number of weddings per year, as I like to spend time with my family and friends on the week-ends (all about the lifestyle!). So no pressure… but if you want to book me… do it a long time in advance (6 to 12 months is good). Hey, if you’re having a last minute wedding, you might want to try your luck, you never know.
When I shoot a wedding I try to capture a whole range of images, from laid-back to super fashionable with a twist of funkiness. Does that make sense? The best thing to do is take a look at my portfolio to get a taste of what I do and what kind of photographer I am.
If you’re in love, and you don’t take yourself too seriously, if you like to have fun and most of all you’re not a bridezilla or a groomzilla, then yeah…I think we’re a good match!
Now, if you’re getting married in Invercargill… sorry I’m busy that day… (OK, I'm kidding, I've been told off because of this sentence) BUT anywhere else if fine! Fiji, Samoa, Hawaii, California, you name it and I’ll be right there! (also Canterbury, Welly, Auckland, anywhere in NZ of course!).
For more details contact me, I don’t bite… I’m quite nice actually (and pretentious).

We first found out about Delphine on weddings.co.nz and couldn't wait to meet her after we saw the great reviews and looked at some of her amazing photos on her website.
Our first meeting was great, she was so friendly and full of ideas that we were sure that she was the photographer for us!
On our wedding day Delphine brought that same energy and enthusiasm, but also had the ability to always make us feel relaxed about having our photos taken. She was also great at being invisible amongst the guests and then being able to get groups together and be the boss when she needed to!
The highlight for us was how fun she made the bridal party photos. There were lots of genuine laughs and she made the whole exprience fun, while getting heaps of great photos!!
So thanks Delphine, we've had loads of comments about how great our wedding photos are and we have you to thank for that! We'll treasure them for years to come.

We chose Delphine because we loved the style of her photography, and her use of colour... what we got was much more than this!
Delphine is full of fun, listens and works with your personal style and wishes while also bringing her own to the mix.
The comments we have received have been wonderful... people love the spontaneity and colours, and we were so relaxed on the day because Delphine became a friend.

Thanks Delphine - The photos are fantastic!
We are really stoked. I was a bit worried we would look frost bitten with red noses, but looks positively balmy!
Nice job. Love the ones with the harbour in behind.
Thanks for doing such a professional job (and not letting me freeze).

Delphine really made our day.
We were in awe of her portfolio and felt that she was the perfect eye to capture our wedding day.
She was very organised with ideas of shots she had in mind all lined up for the day and even with the crazy lighting we had, we still had amazing photos.
Thanks for shooting the fun with us.

Delphine was a pleasure to deal with from initial contact to final product.
Delphine made it an easy process on the day to have our photography done in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
We really appreciated that and the finish product was awesome.

We looked through a lot of Canterbury wedding photographer websites to choose our photographer and your photos really stood out. On the day you worked really hard to get all the shots we wanted, and yet you made it all feel so natural and stress free, especially with the shots of us alone. However we didn't fully appreciate just how good you were till we got our photos back.
Based on other professional wedding photos we'd seen, we expected to really like a few shots and think most of them were OK. However we loved nearly every shot. And comparing the photos to the hundreds of non-professional photos taken by friends on the day, we appreciated your photos even more.
We would highly recommend Delphine to anyone looking at getting some amazing photos of any event.

Right from the start Delphine was fantastic - easy to work with, professional and full of ideas.
She listened to what we wanted and remained in contact in the lead-up to the big day.
We never felt like this was "just another wedding" for Delphine. Maybe this is because she doesn't do loads of them each season, but we really felt looked after and we got to see some of the pictures within a couple of days of the wedding.
On the day itself, Delphine was such a calming presence and was so down-to-earth. She was unobtrusive but captured all of the best moments. We and our wedding party had a great time getting the post-ceremony photos, and Delphine made it a priority for the two of us to get some 'time out' from everything - getting more great photos in the process! |

Albums:
I work with some great Kiwi companies to provide you with the best quality albums.
I offer two different styles of albums, the coffee table style or the magazine style. Sounds like Russian to you? OK, let me explain.
- The coffee table style album is very much like an ameliorated newsstand magazine. The pages are thicker (240gsm) than a basic Cosmo mag or a Bride & Groom mag! It has a hard cover and a dust jacket. The photos are printed directly onto the pages.
They look really cool! You can get a big one for yourself (A3) and smaller version for your parents! Very modern, contemporary and great WOW factor. You can get leather covers too.
- The magazine style albums don't look like magazines at all! They have hard, thick pages and the photos are glued (not by me, by someone who knows what they're doing!) on the pages. They look awesome! They are big and heavy and come in any size you want.
For both types of album there is a choice of colors for the cover and leather as an option.
If you have something specific in mind or want a different kind of album, no problem, no doubt I know where to get it from.
Any question, just get in touch with me!
